Periodical literature which is relevant, in various ways, to the study of the early American Republic. The records of the Congress are very well represented for the period. There are a number of magazines of the period, as well as some earlier English periodicals, showing some of the stream of ideas that formed the mindset of the early Republic.
There are upwards of 15000 books tracked by the On-Line Books Page. The natural selection criteria -- most of it is out of copyright, and American Universities have been most active, so far, in building this collection -- ensure that much of it is relevant to the study of the early American republic.A - Author names beginning with 'A'.
