Subj: Baptism of Fire
From: Penny Cole
Dear Ms. DePauw,
I have read your book Baptism of Fire several times. Have you written a sequel to that book? If so, would you give me the title, etc. because I would love to read it. I was looking for your publisher and was happy to find your name so that I could ask you.
I would appreciate a reply if you have a few moments.
Thank you.

I love to hear from readers. Many, like you, say they have read the book
several times. Would you tell me what you like? It helps me stay enthused.
Linda Grant De Pauw
Linda, since I am new to the list perhaps this has been discussed before, but I would like to hear about your novel. A private reply to e-mail, if you have time, would be okay.
Thanks,
Sharon Wildwind

I have mentioned Baptism of Fire, but it has not been a thread on the list. What would you like to know? If you have interesting questions,. post them for the list -- I love to talk about my fiction. I will be talking about it (as well as other things) at the Army Women's Professional Network meeting at the Pentagon on August 28.

"information and inspiration women and the military"
Linda, I hope you were planning on bringing some of these to the luncheon - just verifying!!!!!! :-)
Eloise C. Prendergast
Yes, indeed. The fiction writing is my own personal project right now and
the relationship between military women's history and the archetype of the
woman warrior is what I hope to focus on in my talk. Of course, I'll also
bring everyone current about the other MINERVA Center activities for which I
will bring order forms and flyers.
