I'm thinking of adding a film assignment to my medieval Europe course this
spring, and would appreciate suggestions of movies, preferably in English,
which focus on some aspect of the Middle Ages. Becket, Lion in Winter, Ivanhoe
various Robin Hoods, Rob Roys and Bravehearts come to mind. There was an odd
film a couple of years ago about a medieval bunch fleeing the plague who
ended up in the antipodes. Anyone remember the title? All ideas are
welcome.
