The British Council in Canada has announced that it invites applications
for grants for visits to Canada under the following schemes:
1 Aacademic Links Scheme -- to encourage the growth of formal academic
links between universities in Britain and Canada (student or staff
exchanges, joint study or research programmes, preference being given
_inter alia_ to British Studies).
2 Young Research Workers Programme -- for post-docs or younger
academics for collaborative research or participating in workshops
or conferences.
3 Professional Exchange Grants -- to encourage visits by British
specialists to udnertake professional engagements at Canadian
academic institutions.
Applications are considered monthly.
