But my edition of Wootton contains an Elizabethan homily, works by James VI
and I, the Petition of Right, and selections from Francis Bacon, Sir John
Davies and Sir Edward Coke. Perhaps Prof. Borot is thinking of the _longue
duree_ when he lumps these with the revolutionary period.
