NEED HELP IN STARTING AMER. STUDIES ASSOC.: We are a group of
univ. teachers and researchers who would like to start an
American Studies Assoc. this year in Madagascar. We would be
happy to receive advice and suggestions as well as books,
articles, journals, etc. Our main areas of research are American
history, political science, race and ethnicity, popular culture,
