The Encyclopedia for American Environmental History, edited by Kathleen A. Brosnan, will be published by Facts On File. This four-volume encyclopedia will cover the history of the American environment from pre-colonial times to the present.
The editors, based at the University of Houston Center for Public History, request contributions from scholars in all historical fields. Encyclopedia entries will range from 500 to 3,500 words. Please contact Assistant Editor Robert S. Thompson at eaeh@mail.uh.edu for further information.
