Up to 5 Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowships for students attending a college or university in the Deep South (Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee) are available for the Summer 2003. The fellowship awards $1500 to the student recipient and $500 to the student's mentor. Research must be on topics of the Deep South, as examined through the humanities.
