The 2003 Annual Conference of the Luce Foundation Korean Christianity Program, the Center for Korean Studies, UCLA, will be held on April 25-26, 2003 at UCLA Faculty Center. Its topic is "The Encounter of Korean Religions and Christianity." Most speakers are confirmed. Nevertheless as the conference is expanded for two days, we need five to seven more participants. If you are interested in this conference, please send me (via email)one page proposal by December 30, 2002. I will let you know whether you are chosen as speaker or not by January 10, 2003. The Center will provide all presenters with airplane fare, at least two night stay at the campus guest house, and honoranium. Please refer to the following provisional plan, and choose your panel to join. The final result of the conferenceis will be the publication of a book edited by Dr. Robert Buswell. Hence please prepare a publishable paper and submit it to me by April 10, if you are chosen as a presenter.
