The Southern Historian, a refereed, graduate-student journal, seeks contributions relating in any way to the history and culture of the American South. Contributors must be active graduate students, contributions cannot have been published previously, or currently under consideration with any other publication. Submissions are preferred by July 15, 2002, but can be accepted as late as October 1, 2002.
