The Eleventh Berkshire Conference on the History of Women will be held at
the University of Rochester, June 4-6, 1999. The conference program,

In addition the website contains registration forms, full information on
costs, local arrangments, facilities, and links to sites in the Rochester
area. Since the program will not be mailed to participants before the
conference, anyone planning to attend should check the website for the
time and place of her/his session.
The conference is the largest meeting in the US, and possibly the world,
devoted to the history of women. It is open to anyone interested in this
area of history, features over 800 sessions covering women's history in
all parts of the world, from ancient times to the present, and will have
participants from every part of the world.
The 1999 conference in Rochester is the llth Berkshire Conference, an
event which is held every three years. A history of the Berkshire
Conference group is also featured on the website.
