Our work crosses many different geographic regions of the world. We utilize insights and methods from other disciplines, including historical geography, sociology, law, ecology, and literary criticism.

situated at the intersection of environmental history and the history of

MSc programme in Environment, Landscape and History

This Masters course provides a historical perspective to contemporary environmental issues. The MSc course explores the history, archaeology and ecology of landscapes, using Scottish examples set in national and international contexts. It also illuminates how space and resources have changed over time, and does so in both rural and urban settings.
